When I got back into doing more weeknight streams in late 2021, I decided to finally start chipping away at the list of Super Metroid romhacks I knew I'd wanted to try out. I also had the good fortune to come into contact with someone willing to part with their Zero Mission GBA cartridge, and I'd always wanted to return to that game as well, which I'd only ever gotten to play once.
In addition to Super Metroid (and maybe Zero Mission?) romhacks, I have a pile of other metroidvanias (such as Timespinner, Ori WotW, and the Blaster Master Zero series) that I want to get to eventually, so this genre ought to keep me occupied for a while - even moreso if speedruns become involved (I already spent a dozen hours learning Zero Mission any%).
